1990-1992 : Tourmusé

Creation of Tourmusé at SIME with the participation of AFIT, ENIT and BT, at the initiative of the European Commission.
Its intention is to develop museum activity in terms of tourism. First winner of the Museum of Moving Image (London) prize.
The subject of new resources brought to museums by cultural tourism is dealt with at each edition of SIME.

1996 : International symposium on cultural tourism

Held over three days in Venice, during the final edition of SIME at the Correr Museum under the patronage of the Council of Europe and the City and Province of Venice.

1997 : 3 Days in Nantes

The first show dedicated to cultural, industrial and nature tourism. 100 exhibitors... and it coincides with the road hauliers’ strike, which paralyses the whole of France and prevents the staging of a second edition.

1998 : Cultural tourism encounters

Grande Arche. Conferences and workshops on cultural, industrial and urban tourism.

1999 : Cultural Tourism/Players and Actions

At the request of the AFAA (French Association for Artistic Action), publication of this 140-page book. A sort of Who's Who to help diplomatic Posts find their way around in this cultural area.

2000-2006

We deal with the issue of Cultural Tourism within two forums and workshops organised in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (DGCID) at our SIMESITEM conferences, under the generic approach of “the enhancement of the cultural offer”.
